A Season in Quarantine - Day Seventeen

It is a truth universally acknowledged (at least by me) that the less inspiring the walk, the more photos I take. I've had to do a lot of whittling down for this post.

Today has been dry, but rather grey and as a large part of my walk was to post some letters, the brisk walk down the side of the A road running through the village was not half as pleasant as idling across the fields. Still I saw things and I photographed things, so here are some images from today's trip out.

February's rains are forgotten. The current dry spell has caused the clay soil to crack, and it's only just April. We could really do with some decent rain from time to time over here.
