Snow in January

And yes, I know social media is full of everyone's snow pics as soon as a smidgeon of the white stuff appears. Sorry, not sorry. I'm just as susceptible to the lure of the white as everyone else. 

Photographs taken inside and out during the first snowfall of January in this bottom corner of Cambridgeshire. Even the photograph of the pheasant, though the snow is not making its presence strongly felt.

White December

This is likely to be my last post until the New Year, so it seemed timely to share some seasonal, snowy winter scenes.

We are cold and white in this part of Britain, and though the snow has thawed a little since first fall, it's still pretty deep and expansive, as you can see for yourself.

It's definitely winter here, though the barbed wire does look like it's flowering.
