Early Autumn 2021

No story to tell or poem to relate. Just some photos from my camera, taken as summer segues into autumn across South Cambridgeshire and North Hertfordshire.

Sky Forms and Cloudscapes

It's a bit of a cliche, but it's true - Cambridgeshire is known for its wide open skies. I previously explored some South Cambridgeshire skies photographically in my Sky Lines post, but the sky and its clouds are always there and always changing and I am always, it seems, taking photographs of them.

Here are some new images of the clouds that ceiling me and some slightly older words that consider their poetry.

The poem Sky Form was one of four of my poems recently published by The Blue Nib. It's the third poem in the quartet and you can read it here

Wind Chimes was a poem recently published by Beir Bua Journal. You can read it on page 36 of this edition.

B-cause

So, this is another in the series of loosely themed, "freestyle" posts I began in April with "Mostly Yellow" . As you might gather from the title, it's B related, as in every picture can (however loosely) be linked to the letter B. Think blackberry, bee, buzzard, bud, bloom etc. Some of the Bs are a little obscure, but they are there, honest.

All the photos have been taken across the last three months.
