Tourist in Someone Else's Town Part II - Bradford on Avon

As mentioned in the two previous posts, I have allowed myself to get behind with sorting my photos. Also, I have been a visiting a variety of different places, which makes for an even larger pile-up of photos. This post and the two previous ones are an attempt to expunge my guilt.

I spent last weekend in the Wiltshire and Avon area being, amongst other things, a tourist in other people's towns. It wasn't the sunniest of weekends until the last few hours of my visit, but I still, as is my want, took a fair number of photographs. These are the highlights of my stay in Bradford on Avon across that weekend.

My aim was to capture images of things I saw as I moved around and through the town, not photograph the tourist highlights of Bradford on Avon, though it undoubtedly has many. You will find captured here, amongst other things, the town's impressive Tithe Barn, its lovely Anglo Saxon church, the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal, both of which flow through the town.

Wiltshire Autumn

On the way back from Devon, I stopped off in Wiltshire and explored the River Avon as it runs through the Woodford Valley.
