Wells Next The Sea

 

So, on the same grey, drear day in June that I visited Walsingham, I pushed on to Wells Next the Sea. 

You will not find any Tourist Board photos here, just sea, birds and mud, which is how it was - North Norfolk on a damp, grey day, but rather lovely in its own down-beat way. It was also my first visit to the sea since before the first 2020 lockdown and all that came after. It made me happy.

Donna Nook

From end October to the end of December the seals come to Donna Nook to pup. I visited twice this year in early November when there were hundreds of seals (later there will be thousands). I took hundreds of photos. These are some of the highlights.
