Oxburgh Hall

Smack bang in the middle of June, I treated myself to a day out at Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk. As you might expect from a National Trust property there was fascinating history and beautiful nature. It was also a gorgeously sunny day, unlike last year's June trip to Norfolk (see Walsingham and Wells Next The Sea). Here are some photos from amongst the many I took.

This, I believe, is a Hummingbird Hawk-Moth

A Season in Quarantine - Day Five

So, today an essential trip out for work purposes took me past the National Trust's Wimpole Hall, where there's so much space it's perfectly feasible to have a wonderful walk and be socially responsible. These are some of the photos I took whilst wandering in just a small part of the estate.

The Hall itself is shut, but the grounds are open to the public.
