Whilst many of my July images (see the previous four posts) were taken on cloudy and overcast days, August is proving to be a month of sunshine, heat and drought. The light is good for photography, but the chestnut trees are well on their way to autumn, even if it is still the height of summer and roses are still blooming (if watered).

Constitutional Highlights - Last Few Days of August
This is the sixth post in the current series of semi-monthly posts, covering the end of August from 24th August onwards. And, yes, I know it's now September, but hey, I have stuff going on.
