A Season in Quarantine - Day Seventy Eight

Walk no. 78 - in which my walking buddies and I undertake an unexpectedly eventful walk...

So far, so good...

All was peaceful down by the chalk stream, until...
For reasons known only to them, my normally peaceful walking buddies had a falling out.

After the fight they stoically avoided one another.

Round about this point in the walk, the photographer stalked ahead, put her foot in a hole and fell over splat... Thankfully the camera was all right. She was largely all right, but with a twisted ankle, a bruised wrist, a skinned knee like a six year old and multiple scratches and insect bites from the long grass. By the way, falling into long grass with bare legs leads to some mighty itchy bites.

The party of three limps home, with the main boy rushing ahead to give us the paw. Neither of my buddies was any good at first aid.

The boys continue to ignore one another on the way back.

Strange things are seen in the sky.
