A Season in Quarantine - Day Eighty Three

I set off today, into the cold, dark and damp, with my two somewhat reluctant walking buddies to see what we could see. I rashly thought that both I and the camera (my walking buddies, not so much) were protected by my plastic cape and forgot that we were going to be walking through long, very wet grass - upper body dry, leggings absolutely soaked!

Over the long grass, the swifts and martins were out in force - squadrons of them.

The snails were also having a good time

And the local buzzard got in on the act.
