A late, sunny, August visit to Wimpole Hall in Cambridgeshire led to a whole crop of photos. This is part one of the photographic harvest. It consists of photos taken in Wimpole's Walled Garden.

Bird photography can be dangerous. Take it from me. During the making of these following photographs I
was pooed on from a great height by said chaffinch or one of his friends.

August Skies With Buzzards

Four buzzards spiralling the air currents on a hot august afternoon. Only three allowed me to photograph them collectively, but, take my word for it, there were four and they were a sight.
